Jonh Deere Gator Toy Electric does not come forward is maintained only in the opposite direction. Should I buy a new motor for the toy or is it to be repaired?

The same machine moves back and forth, so there is probably not the engine. The change most likely. Contacts with interest (double-pole double-throw) does not work.
